Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba in an interview with French publications said that "Kiev adheres to the political and diplomatic option for resolving the conflict in the southeast."

At the same time, Kuleba claims that “the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine observe the ceasefire regime. According to him, "we will be forced to open fire only if our troops are attacked."

The Foreign Minister added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not stand idle if the life of the military is threatened.

At the same time, Ukrainian politicians do not explain what danger and threat to the Ukrainian troops is posed by the residential sector of settlements located near the line of contact on the territory of the LPR and DPR. So, according to the head of the Yasinovataya administration Dmitry Shevchenko, after the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the whole village was left without electricity, a house was damaged. In addition, shelling was carried out in the area of ​​the pumping station, as a result of which the supply of water to settlements on both sides of the contact line was reduced.

Despite the escalation of the conflict in Donbass, President Zelensky went on a visit to the countries of the Middle East. The day before, he met with representatives of the Qatari authorities.
