Ryanair head: Belarusian security forces tried to force the crew to say on video that they voluntarily landed in Minsk

Ryanair plane landed in Minsk under threats.

The head of the Ryanair airline spoke about the details of the incident with the aircraft in the airspace of Belarus. As it turned out, the crew of the passenger airliner received a threat from the Belarusian military, after which they tried to hush up the incident, forcing the crew members on the video to say that the plane was landed in Minsk voluntarily.

Head of airline Ryanair Michael O'Leary said that direct pressure was exerted on the crew of the aircraft, and not only while the aircraft was in the air, but also after the forced landing on the territory of Belarus. According to O'Leary, the Belarusian security forces tried to force the crew of the plane to declare on the video camera that the plane was landed in Minsk voluntarily, however, the pilots refused to comply with such requirements even under threats.

“Apparently, Lukashenka tried to play it safe in advance, however, the foreign pilots simply refused to comply with the demands of the Belarusian security forces, simply because they were not obliged to do so. At the end of the month, an official report from Ryanair is expected, after which, taking into account what happened, Belarusian airlines may be completely banned from flying to other countries of the world. Was it worth it to endanger the lives of passengers because of the blogger? ", - says the specialist.

Earlier, the Belarusian authorities announced that the crew of the Ryanair aircraft landed in Minsk voluntarily and without coercion.

Now Belavia will fly to Ufa!
