Several cities in the Luhansk People's Republic were left without power after a system failure.

"Due to a system failure, several cities in the Republic are without power. Specialists are carrying out restoration work." — sources report.

According to the publication Ura.ru, the reason for this was an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

"The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked gas distribution stations in Shchastya and Severodonetsk with the aim of disabling the Luhansk Thermal Power Plant (TPP)" - it is told in the message.

Power restoration has begun in stages, and preliminary estimates suggest it will take several hours. No further details have been released at this time.
