US State Department Decides to Admit Georgia and Ukraine to NATO

Georgia and Ukraine will become NATO members.

The U.S. Department of State said Washington is committed to endorsing Georgia and Ukraine joining NATO. The exact dates are not specified, however, we are talking about the "near future", which clearly indicates that new members of the North Atlantic Alliance, which is the main opponent of Russia, will appear near the Russian borders.

As follows from information provided by the US Department of State, in the near future, NATO allies intend to continue military exercises with the forces of Georgia and Ukraine, to strengthen the advanced presence in the region and to further support the sovereignty of Ukraine and Georgia.

It should be clarified that earlier the United States regularly sent its warships to the Russian borders, citing the need to ensure security in the Black Sea, however, each time Russia provided maximum control over warships, directing its vessels for escort, conducting missile firing and carrying out aerial reconnaissance the use of combat aircraft.
