Avalanche of fire: "Grad" covered the positions of terrorists in Idlib

Government forces in Syria attacked terrorist positions with 122mm rockets. The video posted on the network demonstrates the destructive power of the TM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket systems.

Together with cannon artillery, "Grad" is one of the main weapons of destruction in this country.

However, foreign sponsors of the militants have provided such systems to illegal armed groups. From the countries of the former Warsaw Pact, often from Bulgaria, they receive rockets.

In the government troops, by the beginning of the civil war, there were almost three hundred such systems, but during the hostilities a lot of such equipment was lost.

The "Grads" available now in the government troops were received in the 70s - 80s. They are made on the chassis of the Ural-375, equipped with a gasoline engine. These cars are thoroughly worn out. In the spring of 2017, new installations based on the Ural-4320-31 diesel engines appeared in Syria.

Later, the lightweight Grad-1 was delivered to the country, made on the platform of the Soviet ZIL-131 6x6 all-terrain vehicle. In a number of operations, these launchers operated in conjunction with the BM-21.
