Civilian Far Eastern Aviation was 85 years old

Today is the celebration of the Far Eastern civil aviation, which marks 85 years.

The first regular flight on the route Khabarovsk-Nikolaevsk-on-Amur-Oka-Alexandrovsk-on-Sakhalin was performed on 9 January 1939. It was this day that became festive for all civil Far Eastern aviation, and it was executed by the crew of the flight mechanic Anikin Nikolai Petrovich.

To date, Russian airlines are carrying out flights almost throughout the Far East, and in addition, it is also planned to restore most of the air routes that existed in the 90-ies of the last century.
