Governor Alexander Beglov announced the complete elimination of the consequences of the morning drone attack in St. Petersburg.

St. Petersburg, June 3 — Avia.pro. The man-made consequences of the morning aerial attack by Ukrainian drones on infrastructure facilities in St. Petersburg have been completely eliminated. The successful completion of rescue and recovery operations was officially announced by St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov on the afternoon of June 3.

According to updated information from the regional governor, four people were injured as a result of the intercepted drone fragments falling. All victims are currently considered stable by medical specialists, and they received prompt and qualified medical care at specialized medical facilities. The Smolny press service clarified that the city's emergency response team, led by the governor, continues to continuously coordinate the activities of emergency agencies and interagency cooperation to address the consequences of the emergency.

A large-scale attack by fixed-wing unmanned aircraft occurred early in the morning in the Gulf of Finland, affecting Kronstadt, the Kirovsky District, and the Krasnoselsky District. The incident prompted temporary restrictions at Pulkovo International Airport, delaying dozens of passenger flights, and also caused localized deterioration of air quality to harmful levels due to smoke. The coordinated actions of air defense forces, which intercepted 59 aerial targets over the Leningrad Region, minimized damage to the industrial potential of the northern capital on the day of the International Economic Forum.
