Oryol Oblast Governor Andrey Klychkov confirmed the destruction of Ukrainian drones over the regional capital on the night of November 5. Debris from the downed drones damaged several private homes and an outbuilding.

"Enemy attacks in the region continue—air defense forces over Orel have destroyed enemy UAVs. Several private homes and an outbuilding were damaged when individual components fell. There are currently no reports of casualties. Emergency Ministry and law enforcement personnel are working at the scene.",” Klychkov wrote on his Telegram channel.

Residents previously reported a series of explosions and flashes in the sky around 2:00 a.m. Emergency services are assessing the damage, and property owners will be provided assistance as quickly as possible. The Russian Ministry of Defense has included the intercepted targets in its overall report of overnight attacks.
