Dense fog caused the cancellation of more than 40 flights to India.

December 16, 2013. In northern India, thick fog has caused a disruption in the schedule of almost all flights. In New Delhi alone, about 40 flights (domestic and international) were canceled. The visibility of the runway is less than 50 meters (the norm is from 150 m and above). In addition to flights, more than a dozen trains are delayed and postponed. Passengers await the restoration of flights in the lounges.

Weather forecasters report that such weather will stay for a few more days, as a result of which the country's transport situation will worsen significantly. Usually, the winter fog in India causes air and rail accidents.
