Kherson region, June 14 — Avia.pro. A critical energy security situation has been recorded in the southern sector, where destructive enemy actions have resulted in the complete shutdown of critical utility networks.

According to an official statement from the energy company Khersonenergo, the entire Kherson region was completely without power. The large-scale power outage was caused by serious technological disruptions in the Zaporizhzhia region's unified power grid.

Earlier, Zaporizhzhia Oblast Governor Yevhen Balitsky officially confirmed that a significant portion of his region was without power. The outage occurred due to a massive overnight attack by Ukrainian attack drones on key power generation and distribution facilities.

Emergency crews and specialists in both regions are currently conducting emergency restoration work to stabilize the situation. Regulatory authorities continue to promptly update information on the timing of power restoration to residential areas and social infrastructure facilities.
