The Kherson Regional Military Administration reported extensive damage to the local thermal power plant following intense attacks. According to them, approximately 100 shells were fired at the facility, making recovery extremely difficult.
Deputy Head of the Ukrainian Army (UAV), Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, noted during a telethon broadcast that the strikes had completely shut down the station. As a result, 40 customers, including 470 homes in Kherson, were left without heat and power. Drone and artillery attacks continued for several days, with the decisive shelling occurring on December 3.
