Explosions have rocked central Israel, including Tel Aviv, following a massive rocket attack, allegedly carried out by the Hezbollah group. According to preliminary information, several short-range tactical missiles (SRBM) were launched into the country. Israeli media reported multiple hits in residential and commercial areas, and there are also reports of casualties.
Immediately after the attack, emergency services began evacuating the victims and extinguishing the fires that broke out. Medical services reported injuries, but the exact number of victims has not yet been determined. In several areas of Tel Aviv, buildings were damaged, windows were broken, and some roads were blocked due to flying debris.
The Israeli army responded quickly to the incident, scrambling fighter jets and activating the Iron Dome air defense system, which intercepted some of the rockets. However, sources say that not all of the rockets were neutralized, which led to destruction and casualties.
