The situation on the border between Lebanon and Israel continues to deteriorate. According to the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, about 40 rockets were fired into Israel from southern Lebanon. The attacks were carried out by the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, which actively uses rocket launchers and loitering munitions to strike Israeli targets.
Since October 8, according to the newspaper, Hezbollah has already fired 7500 rockets and 200 loitering munitions at Israel. Such a large-scale shelling indicates a significant increase in military operations in the region and the group’s serious intentions.
Israel's air defense systems, including the Iron Dome, continue to fend off attacks, but constant shelling is putting pressure on the country's defense resources. The number of rocket launches from Lebanese territory demonstrates Hezbollah's high level of coordination and technical capabilities.
