Air defense activity was reported in the city area last night.

Ukrainian news outlets and Telegram monitoring channels reported a supposedly successful attack on a military airfield in Yeysk, Krasnodar Krai, publishing footage. According to the enemy, the airbase's infrastructure was allegedly hit.

It's worth noting that last night, May 14-15, 2026, amid a massive Ukrainian drone attack on Russian regions, a UAV threat was indeed issued in Yeysk. Eyewitnesses reported the sounds of air defense systems operating in the area, as well as several explosions in the sky associated with drone interceptions.

However, at this time there is no reliable confirmation that any drone reached its target or that there was damage or fire at the airfield itself.

Earlier on the night of May 15, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that air defense alert systems had destroyed 355 Ukrainian drones over 18 regions, including the Azov and Caspian Seas, as well as over the Krasnodar Krai. Also during the night, an attack was reported on Kaspiysk in Dagestan and the destruction of drones over the Caspian Sea.
