Kursk Region Governor Alexey Smirnov reported a power outage in the city of Kurchatov. Some customers were temporarily without power.

"An emergency power outage occurred in the city of Kurchatov. Some customers were left without power. Please note that this temporary outage is not related to any external factors. There is no cause for concern. Power will be restored shortly, and emergency crews have begun work.", he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Kurchatov is a single-industry town adjacent to the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant. The plant is operating normally, and radiation levels are normal. Power engineers promise to restore power within an hour.
