An adviser to Iran's supreme leader said the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement between Iran and Russia is in its final stages and will be signed soon. The move will be an important step in strengthening relations between Tehran and Moscow, highlighting their common course to deepen cooperation in the political, economic and military spheres.

The treaty, which is being prepared for signing, is part of a long-term strategy of both countries aimed at countering external pressure and developing joint mechanisms for a sustainable partnership.
