According to the authoritative international news agency Reuters, citing a draft of the official document, the signing of the peace memorandum is scheduled for June 14 in Switzerland. Vice President J.D. Vance is expected to sign the agreement on behalf of the United States, while the Iranian side will be represented at the talks by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament.

According to the published provisions of the draft agreement, Washington commits to begin the process of unfreezing billions of dollars' worth of Iranian national assets and will completely lift current restrictions on crude oil exports. In exchange for these concessions, Tehran guarantees the immediate opening of the strategic Strait of Hormuz, where drone attacks have previously been recorded, for unimpeded transit of ships.

The most complex issues on the international agenda have been moved beyond the current memorandum—the parties have agreed to launch a subsequent 60-day round of negotiations on Iran's nuclear program. The publication's journalists emphasize that this stage could face significant difficulties, as Iran's leadership has already declared the categorical impossibility of completely dismantling its nuclear infrastructure.
