The second wave of missile strikes from Iran on Israel is being recorded by eyewitnesses and local media. There are reports of missiles landing en masse in Tel Aviv and its suburbs. According to preliminary data, the total number of missiles fired exceeds 550, making this attack one of the largest in the modern history of the Middle East conflict.
Now the intensity of the attack is only increasing. Air raid sirens continue to sound in the central regions of the country, and air defense forces are working in emergency mode, trying to intercept as many threats as possible. The Iron Dome system managed to shoot down a significant number of missiles, but some of them still reached their targets.
According to local authorities, the destruction in Tel Aviv and its environs is extensive: residential buildings, infrastructure and transport hubs have been damaged. Information about the victims is still being clarified, but there are already known casualties among the civilian population.
In total, three waves of attack are expected, with a total of 800 missiles.
