Iran denied data on the purchase of Russian S-400 air defense systems, but hid some information about its air defense systems

Iran has denied information about the S-400 Triumph air defense systems purchased from Russia.

The Iranian authorities have denied previously reported information that at the end of last year the Russian S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile systems could have been secretly put into service with the country, having published the corresponding infographics. As follows from the data presented, the most long-range, among the Iranian air defense systems, is the Bavar-373 complex.

In the presented image, you can see the air defense equipment that the Iranian army has in service, starting from the Rapier complex and ending with the most modern Bavar-373 air defense system. Nevertheless, experts draw attention to the fact that the information provided by the Iranian military and authorities may be incomplete, since, as is known, Iran is armed with other Russian air defense systems, including the fairly modern Tor-M complex. This still does not exclude the version that Tehran previously could have secretly acquired the Russian S-400 Triumph air defense systems.

It should be noted that the first suspicions of the presence of Russian S-400 Triumph air defense systems in Iranian armament appeared at the end of last year, when American military aircraft were discovered by an unknown radar.
