The situation in the Middle East has reached a critical point following reports of Iranian armed forces using indiscriminate munitions against densely populated areas of Israel. According to a breaking news report from Israeli television station Channel 12, at least ten rockets armed with cluster munitions were launched toward Tel Aviv during the latest massive attack. The shelling occurred in three successive waves, significantly complicating the operation of air defense systems and resulting in the dispersal of submunitions over a large area of the city. Experts note that the use of such systems is aimed at achieving maximum destructive effect in residential areas, raising serious concerns among international human rights organizations.
Tragic consequences of a missile strike were recorded in Haifa, where one of the rockets directly struck a residential building. Two deaths were confirmed as a result of the collapse. Reinforced rescue teams and paramedics worked at the scene for several hours. After clearing the rubble, rescuers recovered the bodies of the victims, who had previously been listed as missing. Authorities initially reported four people whose fate remained unknown immediately after the explosion, but the bodies of two of them have now been recovered, and the search for the others continues amid the ongoing threat of further attacks.
