Currently, the Iranian Ministry of Defense is considering the possibility of acquiring a batch of Russian multi-role fighters, which is why it is conducting negotiations with Russian specialists. Experts believe that if Iran is really interested in buying Su-30 planes, then we can talk about a fairly large party, which, however, is currently not commented on by Iranian representatives.

It should be clarified that the Iranian Armed Forces need modern weapons, in particular, this is no less the case for the Air Force, and given the availability and reliability of Russian technology, such an approach is the most effective for Iran.
