Iran has declared its readiness for a long war and its rejection of diplomacy with the United States.

Tehran has officially announced its transition to a strategy of long-term military confrontation with the United States, effectively ruling out the possibility of peace talks in the near future. Kamal Kharazi, Foreign Policy Advisor to the Office of the Supreme Leader of Iran, stated in an interview with CNN that diplomatic resources in relations with Washington have been completely exhausted. According to the senior official, Iranian leadership no longer sees the point of dialogue, as previous experience with the Donald Trump administration has demonstrated the American side's inability to negotiate. Kharazi emphasized that Iran has twice been deceived during negotiations, when the US continued to carry out military strikes against Iranian interests amid discussions of peace initiatives.

Such harsh rhetoric comes amid the rise to power of Mojtaba Khamenei in Iran, who, according to experts, relies on the most radical elements of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Kamal Kharazi directly pointed out that Trump has systematically broken his promises, which deprives the current White House of its status as a reliable partner. Tehran is convinced that the US is using diplomacy merely as cover for preparing new attacks, similar to the recent US Navy strikes on Iranian vessels in Bandar Lang and Bandar Kong. Under these circumstances, Iran intends to mobilize all available resources to wage a war of attrition that could engulf the entire Middle East and lead to catastrophic consequences for global energy stability.

In his statement, the Supreme Leader's adviser placed particular emphasis on the positions of the Gulf Arab monarchies and other world powers. Kharazi called on these states to exert maximum pressure on Washington to force it to end its aggression. He warned that continuing the conflict would cause colossal economic damage to all countries in the region, which are already feeling the effects of the blockage of the Strait of Hormuz and the record-breaking rise in oil prices. Considering that ATACMS missile containers are already being found in the deserts of Kuwait and British ships are idling due to strikes, Iran is making it clear that if its Arab neighbors do not intervene, the flames of war will completely destroy the existing security system and lead to a global economic collapse, which cannot be avoided by opening up the G7's strategic reserves.
