Iranian missiles hit Ovda airbase in southern Israel

An Iranian ballistic missile strike on Israel's Ovda airbase in the south of the country caused significant damage to military infrastructure. According to preliminary data, at least three reinforced concrete hangars housing F-16 fighter jets, as well as one of the administrative buildings on the base's territory, were hit.

The Ovda airbase is an important strategic facility for the Israel Defense Forces and the strike on its infrastructure indicates that Iran's strikes were targeted. Official Israeli sources have so far refrained from commenting on the exact consequences of the attack and the condition of the damaged equipment, however, no traces of detonations or fires have been found, which raises a number of questions.
