Tehran, June 3 — Avia.pro. Iranian state television channel Press TV published official video footage of large-scale strikes on US military installations and associated commercial shipping in the Middle East. Representatives of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps confirmed a coordinated attack using missile systems and unmanned aerial vehicles.
According to published reports, Iranian forces successfully hit the US-affiliated vessel Panaya with an anti-ship missile in the Gulf. Simultaneously, air strikes were carried out on the US Navy's Fifth Fleet command center in Bahrain and another US military base in a neighboring Middle Eastern country. The official statement from the IRGC emphasized that these actions were a harsh lesson for Washington and a direct response to the recent US attacks on Qeshm Island and the civilian tanker Lexie.
Previously, US Central Command announced the interception of three Iranian ballistic missiles approaching Bahrain by its Combined Air Defense Forces. However, video surveillance footage released by Tehran shows pinpoint impacts, confirming a serious escalation of direct armed confrontation and threatening the security of international hydrocarbon shipping routes.
