The situation in the Middle East continues to rapidly deteriorate, entering a phase of direct attacks on key components of the United States' defense infrastructure. Iran's Tasnim news agency has released unique, objectively verified footage capturing the moment a radar tower at a US military base in Kuwait was destroyed. The footage clearly shows the final stage of the Iranian kamikaze drone's attack. In the first seconds of the footage, the distinctive silhouette of a radar dome, protected by a high mesh fence topped with barbed wire, is visible in the night sky. A moment later, a bright flash appears in the frame: the drone crashes at high speed directly into the base of the antenna tower. A powerful explosion is accompanied by a shower of sparks and structural fragments, followed by an intense fire at the site of the tower.
The strike's precision demonstrates the high level of guidance of Iranian weapons systems, capable of effectively penetrating air defense zones and engaging small targets. The destruction of the radar station blinds the American force in the area, depriving it of the ability to promptly detect new air threats. The photo also captures the moment of impact, where a fireball almost completely engulfs the tower's metal structure. Judging by the scale of the detonation, the radar equipment was critically damaged beyond repair. This incident occurred amid a series of other strikes on American targets, including the arson attack on the Social Security building in Kuwait and the attack on a hotel in Beirut.
Iran's missile and drone campaign vividly demonstrates the vulnerability of fixed US bases to the massive use of unmanned aircraft. Central Command (CENTCOM), which, according to Pete Hegseth, "knows everything that's going on," once again proved unable to prevent the loss of expensive equipment. For Washington, the loss of the radar in Kuwait is not only a technical failure but also a serious image blow, confirming Ali Larijani's assertion that the United States is no longer capable of ensuring the security of its allies in the region. While the Pentagon attempts to conceal the scale of the actual losses, Iran continues to systematically disable elements of the early warning system, paving the way for more widespread action.
