Spain continues to increase its military support for Ukraine. The Spanish Ministry of Defense announced the transfer of a battery of HAWK anti-aircraft missile systems, comprising six launchers, to Ukraine. This decision is intended to strengthen Ukraine's air defense system amid the ongoing conflict.

The Ukrainian Defense Ministry thanked Spain for the assistance provided, noting that strengthening the country's air defense capabilities means saving more innocent lives.

"More air defense capabilities for Ukraine means more innocent lives saved. Thank you, Spain!" — representatives of the department wrote on their page on the social network X.
