April 7. The plane of the Spanish air carrier Vueling made an emergency landing on the island of Tenerife.
When flying from Tenerife to Barcelona, almost a few minutes after takeoff on an airliner Airbus A320 one of the engines failed, as a result of which the plane was forced to return to its point of departure. There were 134 passengers on board, but since the landing took place in a normal mode, none of them were injured.
Literally an hour later, an additional plane transported passengers to their destination, and the reasons for what happened are being investigated at the moment.
