Upgraded GBU-12 bombs and upgraded JASSM stealth cruise missiles were used in the exercise for the first time, reportedly never before, according to local media reports.

“We have worked out the task of using all the combat load that the F-35 is capable of carrying. The possibility of using weapons in external suspensions and from internal compartments allows pilots to choose the most optimal option for delivering missile and bomb strikes. "- said the commander of the stealth fighter squadron F-35A of the Australian Air Force.
