Almost 8 thousand children have already been taken out of the Belgorod region due to attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces

In the Belgorod region, which is under regular shelling from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a decision was made to remove children from the danger zone. Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said that almost eight thousand children have already been sent to safer regions of Russia, including Anapa, Tula and Ulyanovsk. The head of the region expressed gratitude to his fellow governors for the assistance and support provided in receiving and providing for children.

Additionally, as Gladkov noted, it is planned to place children from the Belgorod region in Tatarstan, North Ossetia and the Omsk region. Relevant agreements have been reached with these regions. The measure is being taken to ensure the safety of children in the context of the ongoing tense situation on the border with Ukraine.

Gladkov emphasized the importance of caring for the safety of the younger generation and expressed confidence in the need to continue evacuation measures to protect children from the consequences of military operations.
