In Kupyansk, Kharkiv Oblast, active movement of Ukrainian Armed Forces troops is observed, but the information received remains contradictory. Military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS that the Ukrainian command has withdrawn some units from this section of the front. According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are experiencing a shortage of forces and resources to conduct serious counterattacks in this direction.

"The enemy is now forced to redistribute its resources, which indicates a shortage of personnel and equipment for active operations in the Kupyansk area," - noted Marochko.

However, Ukrainian sources, on the contrary, claim that additional reinforcements have been deployed to Kupyansk. In recent days, social networks and Ukrainian media have reported the redeployment of new Ukrainian Armed Forces units to the area. According to these sources, Kyiv is strengthening its group to strengthen its defenses and prevent a possible advance of Russian troops.

Kupyansk remains an important strategic point in northeastern Ukraine. The city is a key transportation hub, with rail links providing supplies to Ukrainian units in the region. Losing control over Kupyansk could significantly complicate the logistics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and weaken their positions on other parts of the front.
