Speaking at a meeting of the parliamentary investigative commission, Major Yuriy Kasyanov of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated that of the more than 3000 drones launched by the Ukrainian company Fire Point toward Moscow over the past six months, only one aircraft reached its target.
According to Kasyanov, a conflict with Fire Point and its co-owner, Denis Stillerman, led to the dissolution of his division.
Kasyanov claims that Fire Point, despite the design flaws of its products and the availability of more effective alternatives, won government contracts through administrative leverage. He claims his criticism of the company's performance led to the unit being disbanded, and he and his soldiers being sent to the infantry after he testified to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) against President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Fire Point's management, and the head of the Presidential Office.
