Temporary restrictions on the arrival and departure of aircraft have been introduced at the airports of Cherepovets and Pskov.

The measures have been taken to ensure flight safety. According to unofficial reports, the restrictions are related to the threat of drone attacks. Similar restrictions were introduced at Pskov Airport on May 4, 2026, but were subsequently lifted.

Earlier, on May 13, 2026, Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 286 Ukrainian UAVs over 14 regions of the country, including the Astrakhan, Rostov, and Yaroslavl regions, Krasnodar Krai, Kalmykia, and Crimea, as well as over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.
