The open refusal of Belarus to provide control on the western border led to the fact that a massive influx of illegal migrants from Iraq and Afghanistan began to Europe, some of whom have connections with terrorist organizations and movements. After the EU has decided to tighten controls on the border with Belarus, migrants may try to illegally enter Russia.

According to experts, Minsk's attempt to bring trouble to Europe, which, by the way, is completely unacceptable on the part of the Belarusian authorities, will lead to the fact that illegal immigrants from Afghanistan and Iraq may try to get into Russia, since there is actually no control on the Belarusian-Russian border ... This significantly increases the level of terrorist threat, since some of the illegal immigrants are associated with the Taliban movement and, probably, the Islamic State group (terrorist groups banned in Russia - ed.).

“Minsk again neglected the interests of Moscow and now creates problems for Russia. In fact, due to the actions of the Belarusian authorities, thousands of illegal immigrants from the Middle East and Asian countries can enter the territory of Russia, since they are guaranteed not to be allowed into the EU. It is obvious that Moscow will arrange a very serious conversation for Minsk ", - the analyst underlines.

It should be noted that a little earlier the authorities of Lithuania and Poland did not rule out the complete closure of the borders with Belarus due to the actions of Minsk.
