Large-scale fires have engulfed several populated areas in the Luhansk People's Republic. According to local authorities and emergency services, the fire is spreading quickly, forcing authorities to evacuate residents from the affected areas.

According to sources, the fires were caused by strikes by Ukrainian military using flamethrower drones. This was previously reported by journalists from the Avia.pro portal, pointing to the active use of such drones by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to preliminary data, the drones were used to strike forests and agricultural lands, which led to the rapid spread of fires to several villages.

Evacuation measures are being carried out on an emergency basis. Residents of the affected areas are being placed in temporary accommodation centres, where they are receiving assistance.
