The United States cannot supply Himars to Poland due to the start of deliveries to Ukraine.

Poland, which made an earlier decision to purchase a batch of 500 Himars American multiple launch rocket systems, runs the risk of receiving no more than 2-3 dozen of these systems. The reason for this is a serious shortage of such weapons in the United States, due to the supply of these high-precision systems to Ukraine. To date, according to official US data, 16 Himars multiple launch rocket systems have been sent to Ukraine, while 25-30 launchers are expected to be sent in the near future. Voicing this information, the United States admitted that this is the last free weaponry available to the United States of America. This means that over the next 2-3 years Warsaw will not be able to receive such installations from Washington.

Experts believe that in order to arm Poland with 500 M142 Himars MLRS launchers, it will take at least 10-15 years, and this is provided that the United States refuses to supply such weapons to other countries of the world.

In turn, it is known that after the supply of Himars M142 systems to Ukraine, several countries showed great interest in these weapons at once. This does not exclude the possibility that the United States will increase the production of such weapons, especially since the American army plans to adopt new missiles for such systems in the near future and increase the number of installations in service.
