Middle East News, December 12, 2025, Avia.pro. On Thursday evening, the Israeli Air Force carried out a series of airstrikes on the Reyhan Heights in the Jesina region of southern Lebanon, where, according to the Israel Defense Forces, Hezbollah targets were located. This was reported by the Lebanese state news agency NNA. The attacks affected the mountainous areas of Reyhan, as well as adjacent areas in the Litani Valley between Nabatiyeh and Saida.
According to the Israeli side, the targets were weapons depots and rocket launch sites, which allegedly violated the 2024 ceasefire agreement.
"We have destroyed Hezbollah's infrastructure, including the training camps of the Radwan forces," - IDF spokesman Avichai Adraeh said in an Arabic-language statement.
Lebanese sources say the strikes caused explosions and localized fires, but there are no reports of civilian casualties or damage.
The incident occurred amid escalating tensions following recent ceasefire monitoring talks led by the US and France. Hezbollah accused Israel of provocation, and Lebanese authorities called on the UN to intervene. This is the fourth such attack in Jesina in a month.
