The strikes took place overnight, causing panic among the population and significant damage to several areas of the city, local media reported.

One of the most serious incidents occurred in a residential area, where a multi-story building completely collapsed after an air strike. There is currently no precise information on the number of victims, but rescue services continue to clear the rubble, trying to find survivors. According to preliminary data, dozens of people may be under the rubble.

At the same time, a powerful explosion thundered in the area of ​​Beirut International Airport, causing disruptions in the airport's operations. Eyewitnesses reported that the explosion was so strong that it was heard several kilometers away from the airport. It is assumed that the target of the strike was a strategic facility near the runway, which may affect the airport's future operations.
