Despite recent agreements on the first phase of the peace plan, Israeli forces continued military operations in the Gaza Strip, striking several areas of the city.

An Israeli helicopter fired at the al-Shuja'iyah neighborhood in eastern Gaza, where intense fighting had previously been reported. According to Palestinian sources, the attack resulted in civilian casualties, although the exact number has not yet been determined.

Additionally, an Israeli airstrike was recorded in the al-Tuffah neighborhood east of central Gaza City. Medical officials reported the deaths of at least 18 people, including children, as a result of previous similar incidents in the neighborhood.

These events occurred shortly after the announcement of an agreement that included the release of hostages and a partial withdrawal of troops.
