Israeli fighter jets launched new strikes on Syria.

Israeli Air Force fighters launched new air strikes on Syrian territory. Thanks to the timely reaction of air defense systems, it was possible to shoot down three of the five missiles fired, for which both the outdated S-125 air defense systems and the more modern Pantsir air defense systems were involved.

As it became known to the Avia.pro news agency, as a result of aggressive actions by Israel, at least five cruise missiles were fired from the airspace of neighboring Lebanon into Syria. It was possible to find out that Israeli Air Force fighters were behind the strikes. However, the approach of IDF combat aircraft was able to be fixed in a timely manner, and therefore, as soon as the latter launched missiles, the launch of anti-aircraft missiles began. This made it possible to successfully shoot down 3 out of 5 (interception efficiency - 60%) ammunition fired by fighters.

It is known that the attack was carried out on the territory of the Syrian province of Latakia. At the same time, about two months ago, the Russian military was in the port of Latakia, ensuring the security of the sea harbor from possible terrorist attacks, which did not allow Israel to carry out attacks in this direction.
