Israel approves shipment of Blue Spear anti-ship systems and Spike NLOS anti-ship systems to Ukraine

A large batch of Israeli weapons is being sent to Ukraine.

A large batch of Israeli Spike NLOS missile systems and Blue Spear anti-ship cruise missiles will be sent to Ukraine as a military aid package. As it became known, Israel decided not to interfere with the supply of these weapons, although often the supply of any weapon required lengthy discussions.

Estonian Foreign Minister Eva-Maria Liimets said that the Israeli side did not prevent Tallinn from transferring Israeli weapons to Ukraine. However, Estonia does not voice information about what kind of weapons will be sent to Ukraine.

According to information available to the news agency Avia.pro, today Estonia, which supplies Israeli weapons to Ukraine, has only Spike NLOS anti-tank missile systems and Blue Spear anti-ship missile systems. Spike NLOS ATGMs differ from standard anti-tank missile systems in that they are capable of hitting targets at distances of up to 25 kilometers - it was they who provided Azerbaijan with an unconditional advantage during the war in Karabakh. However, coastal defense systems and Blue Spear cruise missiles for them pose a much greater threat, since the missiles are capable of hitting surface targets at distances of about 400 kilometers, which gives Ukraine the opportunity to take control of most of the Black Sea.

It is not known how many Spike NLOS ATGMs and Blue Spear cruise anti-ship missiles will be transferred to Ukraine, however, there is a very serious risk that Israel itself may be involved in the supply of weapons, and this will create a very serious threat.
