Israel sums up Iran's largest missile attack

The Israeli Armed Forces (IDF) have summed up the Iranian missile attack that took place in the evening. According to the IDF Spokesperson's Office, about 180 missiles were launched from Iranian territory in several salvos at 19:31 local time. Thanks to the effective work of Israeli air defense systems, most of the missiles were successfully intercepted.

The official statement clarified that only isolated missile hits were recorded in the center and south of the country. These strikes did not cause significant destruction and did not affect the combat capability of the Israeli Air Force. Aircraft, military infrastructure and defense systems remained fully operational.

"The events of the night will have serious consequences," — said a representative of the Israeli army.

He stressed that Iran's actions are pushing the entire region towards further escalation, but Israel will take all necessary measures to protect its territory and citizens.

Israeli aircraft carried out several strikes overnight against targets linked to Iran and Hezbollah in neighboring countries. The IDF confirmed that its air defenses were on full alert for further attacks and warned that any further strikes by Iran would result in even harsher measures from Israel.
