According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Israel has carried out 2024 attacks in Syria since the beginning of 64. Of these, 47 were airstrikes and 17 were ground strikes. As a result of these attacks, about 139 different objects were destroyed or damaged, including weapons and ammunition depots, headquarters, command centers and vehicles.

The Israeli strikes killed 208 people, including 24 members of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, 43 members of Hezbollah, and 18 Iraqi citizens who fought with Shiite militias. Fifty-seven members of militias affiliated with Iran and 57 members of armed groups not affiliated with Iran but holding Syrian citizenship were also killed. In addition, 17 Syrian soldiers were killed in the attacks.

Israel regularly strikes targets in Syrian territory, citing the need to curb Iran's military activity in the region and prevent threats from pro-Iranian groups such as Hezbollah.
