Mechanized units of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) entered Syria from the Golan Heights and advanced towards the settlement of Kwadana. According to the Russian Weapon Telegram channel, several square kilometers of Syrian territory came under the control of Israeli forces, which were isolated from the air with the support of F-15I Ra`am and F-35I Adir fighter jets.

The IDF quickly consolidated its positions and, according to sources, no significant countermeasures are currently being taken by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA). The Syrian Arab Army, which has significant resources in the region, is, according to observers, holding back from active action, which may indicate tactical difficulties or a lack of operational planning.

The Israeli advance comes amid rising tensions in a region already plagued by regular armed clashes.
