Israeli fighters attacked MiG-29 fighters "interfering" in Syria

The target of the Israeli fighter attack was the Russian MiG-29 at the Hama airbase.

The transfer to the Syrian Air Force arsenal of several MiG-29 fighters of the Russian Aerospace Forces was the reason for Israel’s night attack on a military airfield in the Syrian province of Hama. Missiles fired from the airspace over Lebanon, as well as, according to some reports, over the Mediterranean Sea, were supposed to strike at a military air base on the outskirts of the Syrian city of Hama, however, some of them were intercepted by air defense systems protecting the Syrian S position area -300.

Initially, it was suggested that the purpose of the Israeli air strikes was just the Syrian S-300, which is due to the operation of air defense systems only 10 kilometers from the “Favorites” position area. Nevertheless, given the fact that Israel is aware that these systems will not be used to attack the Israeli Air Force, it is logical to assume that the target of combat aircraft was precisely the Russian MiG-29s, which, according to the Syrian media, were transferred to various air bases at West Syria.

On the presented video frames you can see the powerful work of the Syrian air defense systems, and although according to Al-Mayadeen, at least four Israeli missiles hit the targets in the Arab Republic, there is no specific evidence of destruction, casualties and injuries by the current hour.
