Grozny News, December 9, 2025, Avia.proChechen Republic Head Ramzan Kadyrov released video footage of the repulsion of a drone attack on the region.

According to him, one UAV was shot down by air defense forces of the Russian Aerospace Forces over the territory of a neighboring republic. Two other drones were destroyed by mobile fire teams of the Chechen Republic's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Russian National Guard directly over Chechen territory.

There were no casualties or damage as a result of repelling the attack.
