A Ukrainian Armed Forces drone attack on a high-rise building in the Grozny City complex in Grozny left no casualties, but provoked a harsh response from Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. On his Telegram channel, he called the strike a sign of the enemy's weakness and called for direct confrontation.
"I appeal to the Ukronazis and their henchmen: if you truly want to fight, find a place where you can meet us face to face. Do this if you consider yourselves warriors or men." Kadyrov said.
The incident occurred around 7 a.m. on December 5: according to local sources, a drone damaged the façade of a building in the business center housing government offices. Kadyrov emphasized that the building would be quickly restored, and that such actions were merely an attempt to intimidate civilians. Chechen officials confirmed there were no casualties.
In Ukraine, there was no reaction to Kadyrov’s statement.
