Israel announced the use of Russian anti-satellite weapons.

The Israeli Defense Forces said that the Russian military could use anti-satellite weapons in Syria, designed to block military satellites. It is alleged that behind this, in all likelihood, are electronic warfare complexes.

The announcement came at the same time as the IDF's recent allegations that Russian assets had disrupted GPS global positioning systems. By the way, this may well be due to the recent failed Israeli fighter strike on the outskirts of Damascus.

“Recently, the Russian military has stepped up its operations in Syria along with Assad’s army. The Russian military also reportedly used electronic warfare systems designed to protect its soldiers from a possible attack using satellite weapon systems., - reports the Israeli TV channel "Kan 11".

At the moment, it remains unknown whether Russian anti-satellite weapons are really located on the territory of Syria, however, a little earlier, Russian electronic warfare systems of the Krasukha family were actively used in Syria, although the capabilities of the latter are not enough to fight satellites.
