Ejection of Russian pilots from a wrecked Ka-52 helicopter was caught on video

The first video of the operation of the world's only helicopter ejection system has been published.

A few months after it became known that the pilots of the Russian Ka-52 helicopter were awarded the title of Hero of Russia for successfully testing the world's only working emergency ejection system from helicopters in real combat conditions, a video of the ejection of pilots appeared on the Web. The video footage was taken by the crew of another combat helicopter, which was paired with it.

At the moment, it is known that the Russian pilots were performing a combat mission, however, their Ka-52 attack and reconnaissance helicopter was hit. As a result of what happened, the Russian pilots were forced to resort to the use of an emergency ejection system and, in fact, this was the only thing that saved their lives.

On the presented video frames, you can see how the Russian combat helicopter is defeated from the ground, after which the combat vehicle begins to lose altitude, however, in just a few moments, Russian pilots, Major Roman Kobets and Captain Ivan Boldyrev, eject.
