A Ka-226 helicopter crashed on the afternoon of November 8 in the Izberbash district of Dagestan, landing on a private home near a resort. According to preliminary reports, five of the seven on board, including the pilot and tourists, were killed.

Video footage from the scene, circulated on Telegram channels, shows the loss of control: the plane hits the ground several times, tearing off parts of the fuselage, before finally crashing and bursting into flames.

"Judging by the footage, the pilot lost control, the impact tore off part of the aircraft's hull, and it made several hard landings before crashing," — as noted in the publication of the Baza channel.
