Kyiv and London are launching the "Octopus" project against Russian drones.

Ukraine and the United Kingdom are negotiating the joint production of interceptor drones designed to neutralize daily Russian drone attacks. The initiative, known as Project Octopus, could begin in the coming months, allowing for the production of up to 2000 units monthly exclusively for Kyiv.

As UK Secretary of State for Defence Luke Pollard told Bloomberg, this development combines Ukrainian design with British technology.

"In the near future, we will be producing about 2000 drones per month, specifically sending them to Ukraine to intercept Russian drones," — Pollard noted.

According to him, "The UK is strong in scientific research and high-tech manufacturing, so we can contribute what our Ukrainian partners lack."
